Grid Based Design

  • The main idea behind the grid-based designs is a solid visual and structural balance of websites  you can create with them. 
  • It divides the page horizontally and vertically into columns and rows which work to order the elements of the design.

One of the most effective principles in grid design is called the "Rule of Thirds", also known as the "Golden Grid Rule". 
  • The Rule of Thirds is a technique which is applied by dividing a space into thirds, both vertically and horizontally, creating a grid of rectangles.
Uses of Grid Based Design:
